And am I the only one who noticed the Amarr BS gets 40% explosive resist to armor? Is that standard?

Amarr racial resists are kinetic+explosive so ... *shrugs*
I've never seen a ship with more than 10% base explosive resists on armor, though. Maybe I'm just ignorant of all the permutations, but damn- that seems pretty sweet from over here.
Edit: Looks like the Devoter gets 80%.

Ah, I see. I'm a complete idiot.  Lots of ships with higher base resists than I thought. I need to expand my horizons beyond the ones I can fly, I guess. ;)

Well, Vaga pilots can retire the ship.
It'll certainly make gatecamps more dangerous- assuming it'll be usable in lowsec, which seems to be its purpose.
Even cloakers will have problems getting out of camps with one of those running.
